Congratulations to Brittany Grayson, the new principal of University Place Elementary School!
The Tuscaloosa City Board of Education unanimously approved Grayson as the next leader of UPES during its meeting Tuesday night. She begins her new role today, Sept. 2.
Grayson is in her 17th year in education and has proudly served 15 years with the Tuscaloosa City Schools. Most recently, she served as assistant principal at Central High School. Her TCS career has also included roles as an elementary teacher and school counselor.
“I am truly honored and excited for the opportunity to serve as the next principal of University Place Elementary School,” Grayson said. “I’m ready to get to work and build on the great things already happening at UPES.”
