"Growing Tomorrow's Leader Today"
At University Place Elementary, we're dedicated to "Growing Tomorrow's Leaders Today," with a curriculum that nurtures academic and social growth through critical thinking, creativity, and problem-solving. Our educational philosophy emphasizes a comprehensive learning experience, incorporating diverse daily lessons and introducing foreign languages at early grades to ensure a well-rounded education.
Leadership development stands at the forefront of our mission. We integrate the Leader In Me program, teaching the "7 Habits of Highly Effective People," along with Character Strong within our Positive Behavioral Interventions and Supports (PBIS) framework, equipping students with essential life skills. Additionally, our 21st Century Community Learning Center After-School Program provides expanded educational opportunities beyond the classroom.
We further empower our students through an ambassador program, encouraging them to take on leadership roles and make positive contributions to their community. At University Place Elementary, we see the potential in every student to become a leader and are deeply committed to offering a rich and engaging educational experience that prepares them for the future.
